Elect Eddie Hall

Who IS Eddie Hall you might ask? Great question. I am born, raised and educated right here in the 54th District. I have raised my family here, and although I have worked and traveled throughout this great country, here in North Georgia is the ONLY place I have ever called home. 

After serving in the Revolutionary War, my ancestors settled in what is now southern Murray County. The area known as the "Bloody 8th".  We have spread from there to all parts of Gordon and Whitfield counties. The Stephens and Dooley sides of my family lived in southern Whitfield. 

I was born in Dalton at Hamilton Memorial in 1961. That hospital went on to play a huge part in my life. My mother worked many years there before joining Dr.'s Gregory and Wages in opening their practice. She retired from there. My daughter now serves as an RN Navigator at Hamilton. 

My father worked in various textile mills with Thurman and Buford Chitwood. He later joined with Roscoe Brooks to found F&R Sales which was a fixture on South Dixie Hwy for many years. 

I attended Valley Point Elementary School, Resaca Elementary, Gordon County MS, and graduated from Calhoun High. I attended Dalton State and majored in history and business. 

I have worked for and owned businesses primarily in the sportswear business. I presently work for YANMAR America, an international company based in Japan. I work in the Rural Lifestyles Division, servicing our dealer network.
